Visit with Palestine with Action Palestine
Action Palestine is facilitating a trip to Palestine this summer - the trip will be for 12 days at the end of June into the start of July.
The trip will aim at building and strengthening links with Palestinian educational institutions and student groups.
There will be visits to Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus and a few villages in the West Bank. Also included are visits to Birziet University, the most prestigious Palestinian University, An-Najah University, the biggest Palestinian University, and Al-Quds University, Palestinian University in Jerusalem.
Furthermore there will be meetings with organisations that are active in resisting the Israel Occupation.
The trip will give participants an overview of the situation in Palestine and will give them the opportunity to hear about the experiences of ordinary Palestinian people first hand.
The trip will introduce participants to Palestinian culture
Also on the trip there will be:
a lecture by a top Palestinian academic
attending performances by famous Palestinian musical groups
taking part in actions against Israeli occupation (like everything else in the tour this is optional)
spare time to visit any thing of particular interest to individuals.
Lastly we will help participants to find a placement after the tour has finished with any organisation that they have visited during their time in Palestine.
