Join the bus on 29 June in central London to highlight Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people as Israel celebrates its 60th anniversary

On Sunday 29 June there will be a Salute Israel event in Trafalgar Square. Three double decker buses will also drive around central London, covered with banners highlighting the 60 years of Nakba and Israel’s crimes against the people of Palestine. Black balloons will be attached to the bus, to mirror the marking of the Nakba in Palestine.
Join us on the buses!!! Cyclists — please also come and follow the buses. The buses will leave from Malet Street at 10 am.
This event has been organised by Action Palestine, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Twinning Network, the Palestinian Forum of Britain, the Palestine Return Center, the British Muslim Initiative and NUS Black Students Campaign.
The Twinning Network will also be organising a picnic after the bus ride — details will be available soon — along with the details of other events organised for this day.
