Don&#039;t forget that just now Morrison&#039;s for example are stocking lots of Israeli potatoes, making it possible for people to write to that firm complaining that a) it is a great pity environmentally to buy spuds at such a distance when others are available from countries closer to us in many ways &amp; b) they are Israeli potatoes, tainted tubers in fact.   steve olney, Inverclyde, Scotland</description>
